I couldn't cut anymore without cutting my toe. So I stopped and decided to go to a Doctor.

Let me tell you... there are a lot of Podiatrist Doctors in Hermitage. I had no idea who to choose. I did read a review on one of them that made me decide NOT to go to him. I kind of gave up searching. My Hubs then found Valley Foot And Ankle Center in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. We decided to try it. If we didn't like it we would go somewhere else.

When we walked in Valley Foot And Ankle Center, I had to fill out new patient papers. I did that and right after was wisked in for my appointment with Dr. Vern M. Chuba DPM. Perfect... I hate waiting.
When he walked in, he noticed right away that I had been chopping at my toe. He didn't make me feel like I was an idiot for trying to take care of it myself. Instead, he right away started working on it. He was going to just cut away the ingrown nail part, but when he found that this has been growing back for 50 years, he knew it wasn't going away. I told him he could just rip my nail off. He told me the nail is healthy and if I wanted, he could just cut away the side that has the problem and leave the rest of my nail. I was very willing to do this since I could no longer do it myself. And... I would still have part of my nail.
Right away he set up to get this nail taken care of. I got 2 shots in my toe to numb the toe so I wouldn't feel a thing. I didn't even feel the shots, nor did I feel him working on my toe. I did watch him though.

I got bandaged up and left. It is the third day after, and I still have had hardly any pain. A little on the morning after, but no more than when the toenail was ingrown.

Not sure why I didn't do this sooner. I could have had my foot infected many times the way I dug at it. Now, thanks to Dr Chuba, I don't have to worry about my toenail ever growing back in.

If you live near Hermitage, Pa and want to go to Valley Foot And Ankle Center, here is the address
Vern M. I need to start this the first thing in the morning before I eat breakfast.

How I am doing the Vitamin C Flush.
. As I said, I will begin the first thing in the morning before I have anything to eat.
. Every hour I will take 1,000mg of Vitamin C mixed in juice or plain water. I will also be drinking lots of water to keep myself hydrated.
. I will be keeping track of how much Vitamin C I will need to get to the point of a loose stool.
. Once I have a loose stool, the flush is over. Now I need to reduce the amount of C I am taking slowly, by about 25% less each day until I am only taking 1,000mg a day. I guess you can get rebound scurvy if you megadose and then stop.

How often can I do a Vitamin C Flush?
I am not totally sure how often I can or should do this flush. I read where a woman did it once a week for 6 months and then twice a month for a year. Since we can't overdose on C, I guess I will do it at least once a month, maybe twice a month in the winter.

So here goes! I decided to keep track of how this Vitamin C Flush went. By the way, I used Vitamin C Powder (Absorbic Acid) Some people use the buffered Vitamin C, but I didn't.

8 AM ... I decided to take 2,250mg instead of the 1,000 as soon as I got up
9 AM ... 2,250mg
10 AM ... 2,250mg
Right after the 10 AM dose, I started getting some pain in my gallbladder area. Not bad, but it was there. I also had a cramping feeling in my lower abdomen.
11 AM ... 2,250mg
It is important to keep drinking water during this cleanse. I had to force myself to drink anything. I also had a cup of herbal tea.

Started feeling like I might have to go to the bathroom soon.

12 PM ... 2,250mg
1 PM ...2, 250mg
WoW! I thought I would be finished by this time. My C must be really low.

Right after I took my 1 PM dose, I ate my lunch. I had fried zucchini seeds. Love those things. I am making zucchini bread for my Hubs and Chocolate Zucchini Bread for my Daughter. When I grate the zucchini, I don't use the seeds, so I fry them up and eat them. So good!!

2 PM ... 4,500mg
I have had enough of this messing around. I am getting nowhere with the smaller dose, so I upped it.
3 PM ... 4,500mg
4 PM ... 6,750mg
5 PM ... 6,750mg
Right before I took my 5 PM dose, I went to the bathroom. It was by no means loose, so I am going to continue and up the dose even more. I had no idea I was this low on my C.
6 PM ... 9,000mg
I am so bloated feeling that I could almost burst.
Had another BM... it was loose, but not watery like I am waiting for.
7 PM ... 9,000mg
I might be at this all night. UGH!
8 PM ... 9,000mg
Lots of gas, so I am going to lower my next dose.
9 PM ... 4,500mg
Finally about 9:15 PM I had loose stools. It took me 67,500mg of the Vitamin C to reach that point.

So it has been 2 days since this flush. I honestly can't say if it did me any good or not. I did find out my C was really low. I can't believe it took me 67,500mg before I got to the point of loose stools.

Would I do this again? Probably if I was coming down with a cold or flu, then Yes, I would do it. Otherwise, probably not.

Hopefully this worked so that my C is high enough now to keep all those germs from making me sick. I will post later and let you know if I get any colds or flu this winter. Meanwhile, I have upped my daily dose of the Vitamin C.

Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-73094662058414064152016-12-31T23:33:00.000-05:002016-12-31T23:33:44.590-05:00My Heavy Metal Cleanse Using 2 Ingredients
I have a lot of fillings. LOTS! So, I don't need tested to know I have high levels of Heavy Metals... Not good. I was more acidic than I thought. That was when I figured out acid might be a lot of my problems.

I did everything I could think of to get myself to alkaline. I was driving myself and my Husband crazy.

Then I tried the Baking Soda and Maple Syrup Protocol.

Here is the recipe for the Maple Syrup and Baking Soda. I am not sure if it works for cancer or not... I know some people swear by it in a group I am in. I am just using it to keep myself alkaline and to stop my tongue from burning. My right breast has more of the fibroid tumors than my left. They can be very, very painful, especially painful if you wear the wrong bra.

I have a couple of lumps right where the lower part of the bra lays. So, I have to find a bra that supports and is comfortable as well. It may sound easy to you ... but finding a bra that works for me is not an easy job.
Under wire bras are OUT!! The wire lays right where I have a couple of lumps in my right breast. Wireless bras provide no support, especially when I am exercising.
Who designs these bras anyway???? Most likely some man who has no idea what a bra should feel like.

How would you like a bra that was designed by women, for women? Yes Please!! Well you are in luck. HydroChic makes a Supreme Swim and Sports Bra that ROCKS!! So comfortable and it supports me to where my boobs don't bounce when I am exercising. This bra is so comfortable that I don't want to wear anything else. It is like not wearing a bra at all... That is how comfortable it is.
It is so lightweight that I wonder how it supports, but it does and it supports me very well.

Have you ever worn a bra and your fat hangs out the bottom under the band? I have that problem and I think it looks terrible. The Supreme Swim and Sports Bra with it's modest cut, keeps my fat from showing... at least directly under the bra... it still hangs out at my waist area but that has nothing to do with the bra. I need to work on that part.
It has a double layer construction, a soft under the bust band, and, if you wear it swimming it is quick drying no see through padding.
They not only make this bra in Missy size but in a Plus Size Classic Cut.

The Supreme Swim and Sports Bra is great to exercise in. It moves right with me to where I feel like I have no bra on at all. Perfect for my yoga.

And by the way all clothing made by HydroChic have UPF +50 Sun Protection and is Chlorine Proof. Just wanted to let you know that you can wear these in the sun to help keep you from getting burned, and when you wear them in a pool with chlorine, you don't have to worry about them fading.

Check out my video on facebook

Also you can learn more about HydroChic by visiting them on @HydroChic or check out their facebook page.Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-2242889768897808382016-06-15T08:12:00.002-04:002016-08-17T06:58:33.173-04:00Learning You Have Macular Degeneration Calls For A Lifestyle Change.

My Husband has been misdiagnosed for over 2 years now. She knows how against antibiotics I am. Well those antibiotics caused her to get a horrible yeast infection.
She also has what they call Lichen Sclerosis.

For over 6 months she went to Doctors to try and heal. They kept putting her on more and different antibiotics. She was trying to deal with this herself. She felt so bad that she listened and did what the doctors told her to do. Then she called me for help.... she was so down, and afraid if she didn't do something, she was going to die.

I had her get on a diet, pretty much like the Paleo diet, only modified to suit her. Her problem was, she kept eating kefir. I told her that wouldn't help her, but she insisted it didn't bother her. One day, a light went off and she gave up kefir.
Diet alone wasn't helping and we were doing anything and everything we could think of to heal her. She was slowing getting better, but kept slipping back.
Then she started working on her ph levels.... nothing she did was helping. She couldn't keep her PH levels in the alkaline range.

After my colonoscopy, I started having the same issues. Bladder and possible yeast infection.
I have never been one to just sit back and let things happen, plus I knew after her experience with doctors, I wasn't going to go and let them put me on antibiotics. No way was that happening.

First I bought some PH testing strips and tested my PH. It was in the VERY ACIDIC range. I started searching for ways to make myself more alkaline. I had already been eating alkaline and obviously that wasn't working. I tried liver cleansing. NOTHING was working.
Then, I thought if my urine was acidic, my whole body was probably acidic. I started searching uric acid and found a capsule with certain herbs in it that I thought might work, ( Vitamin C, tart cherry juice, celery seed, quercetin, tumeric, artichoke Boswellia, ginger and more), plus I added some tumeric, rutin, bilberry, and milk thistle. I also bought a bottle of TART Cherry Juice. It is very important that I used the tart cherry.

I took 2 capsules in the morning. Then I would take 2 tablespoons of tart cherry juice, the tumeric, rutin, bilberry and milk thistle in the afternoon about 1/2 to 1 hour before I ate my supper.

Do you know this started working within a couple of days!! I am now mostly alkaline. I do have a few days now and then that I run a little acidic, but never VERY ACIDIC like before.
I told my sister about this also so she could try it. She is no longer having bladder and yeast infections and neither am I.

Also, I have been dealing with a burning tongue for years. I would get rid of it, but it always came back. Now, taking the Uric Acid flush pills, I am digesting my foods better and my tongue doesn't burn like before. I still watch my diet, just like I did before, but now the diet and the uric acid flush pills are working together. I think most... not all of my problems have had to do with uric acid.

Both my sister and I are doing so much better than we were. I was blaming most of my problems on Candida. Now I think it was mostly acid related because our PH was out of balance

Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com24tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-51862579569132850342016-01-15T12:30:00.001-05:002016-01-15T12:30:43.515-05:00Why Not #ExpressYourself By Wearing A #Hashtag Shirt From http://www.natachatagz.com/Health and Happiness are two things most of us strive to have. It isn't always easy to achieve, but with hard work, you can do anything.
10 years ago, I became sick with candida an various other ailments. I have worked very hard at getting well. Finally!! UGH!!!
It is Sodium Sulfate, Potassium Sulfate, and Magnesium Sulfate .... Salt, salt and more salt. Yes, they do make you drink a lot of water, but still you feel so thirsty after drinking these that you want to drink more.
At 7 PM the day before the colonoscopy, you drink one dose of the mixture, then 2 16 ounce glasses of water within an hour.
At 3 AM the day of the surgery, you do the same thing.

My surgery wasn't scheduled until 11:30 AM on December 22. I never got in until after 1:30 PM. So I was without water for well over 10 hours. I was so dehydrated that they had trouble getting my IV in my arm. She poked and prodded so much that I thought I was going to have a really bad bruise.

My Colonoscopy turned out GREAT news!! No problems. She said she doesn't care what shape my poop comes out as long as it comes out. The only thing I had was external hemorrhoids and that is from having a baby.

So, I did make it through the colonoscopy in one piece. 3 days later, I felt I was either getting a yeast infection or a bladder/kidney infection. I started drinking more water. I did a test with a PH strip and that showed I was very acidic.

I still wasn't certain if it was yeast or urine related, so I started using a cream for yeast infections down below. Nothing was working!! I didn't want to go to the doctor because I knew they would put me on antibiotics. Antibiotics would make everything worse for me. I then started taking tumeric to help clear up any infection. I also did a sitz bath.

Then I remember I had some Kolorex Intimate Care Cream. I put it on and at first it burned. But then everything settled down and I started feeling better. The itching felt much better.
The next day, I used the cream again. By this time, it is feeling pretty good. Hardly any itch at all.
I am on the third day of using the Kolorex Intimate Care Cream and feel that whatever was going on down there is gone or to a point that I don't feel it. I still don't know if it was yeast or urine related. At this point, I don't care and am happy to feel normal again.
By the way, I am also using this on my hemorrhoids and it is helping.

My urine is still running acidic, so I have to figure out a way to get that balanced out. Not sure how to do that. I already eat alkaline and nothing seems to be working.

My sister is also using the Kolorex Intimate Care Cream. She has Lichen Sclerosis. When she first used it, she swore to me it made it worse. Well, I misunderstood. She was also having some other issues and it didn't make the Lichen Sclerosis worse. In fact, she is using it daily and swears by it. She says it makes her intimate area feel moist again. I guess with the Lichen Sclerosis you have dry patches and sometimes a rash.

Lichen Sclerosis
Is a skin condition that makes the vulva look white, shiny and smooth. The skin surface becomes so thin that it bleeds, tears and bruises easily.

I had done a post earlier on the Kolorex Candida Care. I had stopped using it because of the colonoscopy, but will be resuming it shortly.

Right now, there is only one place to buy the Kolorex Intimate Care Cream in the US.
https://naturessources.com/store?model_number=KOL-INTCRM

For Men and Women

Kolorex® Intimate Care is not just for women it is as useful for the intimate areas of men. Why? It's the Gel. Unlike the bentonite or glycol ingredient used in competing cold packs, FlexiKold is powered by a proprietary gel interior that remains pliable when frozen. And because the gel stays colder for a longer period of time, less gel is needed. And that allows us to construct a thinner, more user-friendly product. The result is, a colder, thinner, and more flexible cold pack that provides superior contact with the treated area and easily conforms to any part of your body. Constructed of extra-thick flexible nylon material, FlexiKold offers a professionally double sealed gel pack, that prevents leaking, with a smooth high-quality feel.

Check NatraCure out and see what else they have to offer
http://natracure.com/

Buy FlexiKold on Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0091IOISW?ref_=cm_rdp_product

NatraCure Facebook
https://www.facebook.com/NatraCure/

NatraCure Twitter @NatraCure
https://twitter.com/NatraCure

Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-15586684498892467052015-10-28T08:00:00.000-04:002015-10-28T14:21:59.414-04:00No Sugar Added Pumpkin Pudding ~ This Is The Best I Have Found YetJust a heads up for those of you on the Candida Diet. This recipe is not for you unless you are able to eat fruits. So many of you email me asking if the recipes I put on this blog are okay on the anti candida diet. Not all of them are. I happen to be able to eat fruits, I do eat them within reason. You need to use your own judgement when eating anything.

I love pumpkin anything and have been trying to make a pumpkin pudding that tastes like pudding and not pie. I finally have a really creamy pumpkin pudding. So good.

No Sugar Added Pumpkin Pudding
3/4 Cup Canned or Prepared fresh pumpkin
1/2 Banana (I have bananas frozen in halves in the freezer I use for smoothies)
2 Tablespoons Protein Powder (make sure the one you use has no sugar)
4 Prunes (If you don't like prunes, soak dates in a little water until soft)
10 Drops Vanilla Flavored Liquid Stevia ( You can just use stevia and vanilla)
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 Cup Treated Water

Put all into a blender and blend until mixed well and fluffy.

This will make enough for 2 but it was so good that I ate it all myself. Besides, my Hubs doesn't like pumpkin.Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com23tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-84400851178538955112015-08-07T19:09:00.000-04:002015-08-07T19:09:49.347-04:00Green Candida Drink ~ How I Fight Candida And Balance The Gut FloraCleansing is one of the many ways I try to keep myself healthy. But cleansing with harsh herbs can be a double edged sword. It not only kills the bad bacteria, but the good, helpful bacteria as well. Winter is going to kill my fresh herb supply. I am trying to make oil out of some of them and dry some. I just don't know if the oil and dried herbs are going to work as well as the fresh does.

By the way, I drink this drink whether I have issues or not. It just seems to keep everything running smoothly.

Do you grow your own herbs for cooking or cleansing? What herbs do you grow?
Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com25tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-30887523013054999052015-07-16T07:30:00.000-04:002015-07-16T07:30:02.648-04:00Our Sandbrige Beach Vacation ~ Perfect For Our Entire Family
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2lFgP1ZDOXI/VaFYUE8q7_I/AAAAAAAAKbQ/-Jk1iC9LY_o/s640/blogger-image--1391714259.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; (They do have some alternative cheese you can use if you don't do dairy)
Broil
These are great!!

Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-48403697693597156502015-06-14T13:27:00.000-04:002015-06-14T13:28:57.327-04:00Yes!! You Can Paint The Garage Floor #DIYLast year I painted my back cement porch. It turned out very well and even held up through our cold Pennsylvania winter. I only had to touch it up in a couple of places this year. I expected to have to do the whole thing over again.

I used a cheaper paint on the sidewalk and it didn't hold up so well. Now, I need to redo it because it looks really bad.

This year, I decided to do our garage floor. The salt dripping off the cars in the winter eats right through the cement.

I decided to use an epoxy paint for the garage since hot tires will pick the latex paint right off the floor.

I do know the salt off our vehicles will probably eat through the paint just like it does the cement, but that is okay because I will just touch it up as needed.

Even though it didn't turn out as nice as I wanted it to, it still looks much fresher and cleaner than before.

In the before photo, you see a rug going down the center of the garage. That is because the floor is so slippery.

You can add sand to the paint to make it less slippery, but then it is harder to sweep and clean the floor.

My Hubs says it looks 90% better. Lets just hope it lasts awhile. I will let you know on that.

So far, that is what I have done to my garage. Now I need to work on a good storage solution!!
Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com55tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-21422714476912268072015-04-30T12:00:00.000-04:002015-04-30T12:00:26.634-04:00Exercise! I will eventually have to buy some.
But until then, I still want my outdoor furniture to look nice.

A couple of years ago, a wild animal got on my furniture during the night and made it so muddy that I just couldn't get it off. Since my cushions were still in good shape, I thought maybe I could paint them.

You can't just use any kind of paint when it comes to upholstery. Most paint will crack and peel on fabric. One time I painted fabric with regular paint. Didn't work!! The fabric just split and tore like it was dry rotted.

I am still looking for an outdoor carpet to go under my table. I will find one I like eventually. But until then, the floor will be bare.

Check out my Video to see how I painted my Outdoor Upholstered Furniture.

Have you ever painted any fabric before?
Terryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12851191468716916221noreply@blogger.com83tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193141465036406422.post-74894459706489402012015-04-10T08:00:00.000-04:002015-04-10T09:58:28.887-04:00How To #Compost In A Container ~ Container #Gardening
Normally, I compost in my garden, but this year, I am going to have all my plants in pots. It makes it so much easier to weed than trying to keep a whole garden weeded. Not only that,.. my peppers did better in pots than in the ground.

To compost successfully you need 4 things. Air, Water, Browns and Greens.

Air ... In order for foods to compost they need plenty of air. I have a small shovel that I turn my pile daily with. I also have a loose fitting lid I put on this bucket.

Water ... Always make sure your pile is damp, not wet but damp like a wrung out sponge.

Brown ... This would be dry dead plants, sawdust, leaves in the fall, straw, I usually put some potting soil in mine to get it started. Most potting soil is made of some of the above anyway.

Green ... This would be your vegetable or fruit scraps, tea bags, coffee grounds, egg shells (rinsed) etc. I never put food in my container that has any oil on it.

I first started my composting in a bucket, but I very quickly found out I have a lot ... I had worms. I don't know if I still have them or not.

When I started getting rid of the worms, my body started healing. The problem is... now I am at a standstill. Herbs no longer seem to be working to get out parasites. . A friend of mine tells me she thinks I am parasite free. I don't know. I feel well, but there are a few things going on that make me think I still have something going on, having to do with worms.

Over the years, I have heard about zappers and how they can get rid of parasites. I was very skeptical. How can a little machine that does who knows what get rid of worms.
About a month ago, a friend of mine called me. She told me she had bought the Terminator Zapper. She was so excited because it was getting out tapeworms. Lots of tapeworms. Her stomach which was bloated is now flatter than it was. Not completely flat but she says she doesn't feel that bloated feeling.

This is a woman who has been trying to get out parasites for years by using herbs. I kept telling her she had worms and she kept saying.... "I know I Do.. I can't get them out" She used to actually tell me she was jealous when I would get out worms. With the zapper they are coming out her like wild fire. Now, I am the one who is Green With Envy. She told me I really need to try it.

I will do ANYTHING... I do mean ANYTHING to try to be as parasite free as possible.
So I got the Terminator Zapper!!!!

What is the Zapper? I know those of you who deal with parasites are familiar with the term. But, have you tried one? Do they work for you?
I don't know how to explain what it is or how it really works, but you can learn more about how zappers are built and Don Croft, the person who has been building them since 1996. World Without Parasites. It is all greek to me but if it will help to keep parasites away. Bring it on!! One thing I do know is that they work to make our body more alkaline.

My Experience With The Terminator Zapper
When I received the Terminator Zapper, I put it on right away. I wore it most all day, every day for one month.

The second day of wearing the zapper made me have to go to the bathroom a lot. 3 times I had a BM and that isn't me. I usually have a hard time going, which is a sign of parasites.

I also noticed how much better I am sleeping. It feels so good to get a good nights sleep for a change.

After wearing the Terminator Zapper for one full week and seeing nothing, I thought maybe I don't have any parasites left. After all, I do regular cleansing with herbs. I hadn't been seeing anything when I do use herbs so I thought I was either parasite free or the worms had become immune.

Well.... on day 8, I decided to do an enema to see if there was anything dead in me that needed washed out. I got out some candida, but the next day.... Holey Moley... I got out something that I had never seen before. I have no idea what it was. I am pretty sure it had some tapeworm there. You can see a picture of what I got out with the Terminator Zapper on my Pictures Of Human Parasites page. It is at the bottom of the page.

On Day 9, I ended up getting a roundworm out. Oh man.... I was hoping I was parasite free. I have been feeling so good, eating so well. I was just hoping I didn't have any worms left.
This roundworm was kind of mostly gone. My body had absorbed most of it.

I am sure there were a lot of other things that came out that I missed,.. Our bodies absorb the things like that which die off in us. Most of the time we never see them.

So, here is what the Terminator Zapper did for me.
. Better Digestion... I know this because my tongue burns less and less.
. Normal Bowel Movements ... This is a HUGE thing for me.
. Much better sleep patterns
. Got rid of the crawly feeling in my eyes and ears
. And.... I killed some worms along the way

My Hubs is going to try the zapper for some pain he has been having with his hand and then, I will be using it again. I will be posting anything new that happens. I would like to try it right along with herbs and just see what happens. I know it worked alone, but hey.... I will come at those things from the left, right and upside down if I have to.

If you want to watch my video, you can see more. But....
