Belly Beautiful Workout Volume 3 ~ Pre And Postnatal: Pilates BarreFusion With Patricia Friberg

Pregnant and New Moms !!~~~ Here is a workout that was designed to help with strengthening the Pelvic Floor and deep abdominal muscles; building strength and endurance to help with labor, delivery, recovery and newborn care.   It can also help with postnatal weight loss that will allow new
moms to bounce back quickly.


This motivation Belly Beautiful Workout, Volume 3 in the series for new moms "Pre and Postnatal Pilates Barre Fusion" includes specialized workouts for both pre and postnatal.  In this program Patricia creatively combines a blend of Barre and Pltates for a long and lean body.  It is a head to toe workout developing the overall strength of the body and as with all the Belly Beautiful workouts, follows the guidelines of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for safe exercising.  The program is divided into step wise segments so you can select the workout that best fits your needs for any given day.



The workout sections include
Pelvic floor activation exercises.
Pre and postnatal barre for arm and thigh exercise
Pre and postnatal barre back and bottom exercises

Patricia demonstrates exercises for the first trimester and postnatal while 2 pregnant ladies do the exercises for second and third trimester Stretch and Align series; Postnatal Pilates; Diastasis recti; a New Dad bonus section to help dads build tolerance and strength for the use of new muscles when lifting baby; plus a section where Patricia answers pre and postnatal questions.

About Patricia Friberg
All around Health and Fitness expert, Patricia Friberg is the creator of the award winning Belly Beautiful Workout series and has been motivation students in her private and group fitness classes for over 20 years.  She teaches a variety of formats including: Pilates, Spinning, Kickboxing, Step, BOSU, Body Pump, Circuit, Outdoor Boot Camp, and Yoga.  Patricia is fully certified by Stott Pilates and holds certifications in GYROTONIC, GYROKIENESIS, Yoga, Barre, Schwinn Cycling as well as the American Council on Exercise.  She teaches in premier clubs and studios across the country including Las Angles, New York and Chicago, including Harpo Studios, Yoga Works and Equinox.  Patricia trains professional athletes including players in the NBA and NFL and is a regular contributor to the online workout site, Fitness Glow.  Patricia is ACE certified and a member of IDEA.

Outside of fitness, Patricia is a licensed mental health counselor with a Masters degree from Pratt Institute.  Currently Patricia lives in Southern California with her husband and two boys.  Patricia's "Power for Pink Workout" DVD raises money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and she volunteers her time and hosts an annual Power for Pink event to raise funds for BCRF.  She also continues to volunteer as the fitness advisor to the non-profit JAM school program.

  2. I'm not really a new mom, but those are areas that could still use some training. I love the idea of the New Dad section--I've never seen that on a video before.

  5. It can be hard to exercise when you are pregnant and right after. This sounds like a great workout program for people who are about to have a baby or have just had one.

  13. sounds great for getting your body prepared for baby and after the hard work of delivering baby (once cleared from your doctor!). I think it'd be great for anyone too though!

  14. I will share this post with my daughter. She did very well with the pregnancy weight gain (She only gained 26 pounds and is now in her 36th week). She would greatly benefit from the post natal exercises. Thanks for sharing.

  17. I love that she's not super skinny on her dvd cover. She's a mom and it makes my goals seem attainable.

    PS In the last paragraph you say metal health instead of mental.

  18. I'm all about hike workouts!!! When I was Preggo I worked out until about 8 months.... Then I started to slack because I was so uncomfortable lol...

  20. I could use this work out and I have not had a baby in a while. I didn't do one when I was pregnant. I should have though I think that it would have felt really good.

  21. OMG Belly Beautiful. No babies but I want a belly beautiful again. Oh.... how I want a beautiful flat belly but ain't ever going to happen again. The trouble is, we don't appreciate them when we have them and think they will always last.
