Amazing Oat Fiber Pancakes Using @NuNaturals Oat Fiber

It is no secret that I try to eat as low carb as possible.  Most of you know my sweetner of choice is NuNaturals Stevia Products.  I bet you didn't know that NuNaturals also sells other products to help keep me low on carbs.  One of their products is NuGrains Oat Fiber.   This is a GREAT way to increase the fiber in your diet.

NuGrain™ Oat Fiber is naturally produced from food-grade oat hulls through a proprietary process. This is a chemical-free process, turning organic hulls into various organic fibers. Oat fiber has many uses in baked goods, adding to smoothies, porridge, and other recipes where you want to boost the fiber content of the foods your eat

Amazing Oat Fiber Pancackes
1/4 Cup NuGrains Oat Fiber
1/8 Cup Flax Meal
1 Egg
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoon NuNaturals Vanilla NuStevia
1/2 Tablespoon Oil Of Choice

Mix all ingredients together
Heat griddle to 350 Degrees
Pour mixture onto hot griddle and cook.
I use agave syrup on top of my pancakes.  Love these for breakfast.

  9. These look fantastic Terry. My only problem...I don't have any flax seed meal at the moment. I suppose I could grind up more oats? Wouldn't be as low carb I know. But I will get some flax seed and give these a try!

  22. I love pancakes and all the fiber I can get. After surgery my bowels don't work as well as they should so fiber really gets things working.

  23. These look tasty! I think everything in them I can eat.

I was just checking out foods at the grocery store. Pumpkin seeds has more protein than any nut does. I'm going to use them more.
