If you have ever had surgery, you know how it can slow down your whole system, including the gastrointestinal system.

My Hubs had a complete knee replacement 10 days ago.  Because of the surgery, and the meds he is on, he was having a really hard time digesting his food, that in turn slowed his BMs down to nothing.    He also had a horrible time urinating.

He never normally has a hard time with his bathroom habits, but he had never had major surgery like a Complete Knee Arthroscopy either.

We were doing everything we could to get him back on track.  He was eating prunes, which by the way, he hates.  Thats how bad it got.

4 Days ago, he started taking  Organic Himalayan Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil along with the prunes and other things we are doing to heal him.  I just add some drops to his applesauce or some other food he is eating.

Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil Intensive Cellular Care

He is finally getting back to normal.  His colon is working great so that means his liver is working well also.   He can eat without his stomach being upset so he is digesting his foods again.

Plus, he isn't having problems urinating any longer.

Not only is this good for my Hubs but this will work great for my skin and nails too.  Just look how dry my hands are, and my nails... they are horrible.  Winter is not good for my very dry skin.

I was sent a many different products to try to get my dry skin under control

I don't know if you can see the difference in my hands, the top two are before I started using the Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil and the bottom two are 4 days using it.
I know I can feel the difference in the dryness.

  1. I would use it just to moisturize my skin in the winter time! My hands and feet are like sandpaper in the winter time because of the cold. I'm willing to try just about anything to keep my skin from drying out! Glad it's working for you & the hubs, too :)

  8. The berry oil sounds great for digestion and may be also for skin issues. I could have greatly benefited from using it immediately after pregnancy when I was struggling with digestion and difficulties in the washroom ( if you know what I mean lol)

  11. It's good to hear your husband is doing better. I can understand what winter is doing to your hands. I have cracked and bleeding knuckles from this cold spell. I even went as far as wearing gloves when I am cleaning the house. I should look into getting some of the Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil.

  16. This is my first time ever hearing about Buckthorn, but it sounds amazing. I don't blame him for hating prunes. When I had my third c-section, I had bad digestive issues. They made me drink hot prune juice and it tasted terrible.

  21. Sounds like a good product. I have really dry hands and might have to try this. If you ever run across a product that helps skin conditions like seborrheic (sp) keratosis, please let me know. Those little suckers are beginning to pop out on my skin big time.

  36. It's amazing how a simple oil can do so much for your body! I had gallbladder surgery in late 2012 and my digestion was a little out of whack for a few weeks following it. Wish I had known more about Sea Buckthorn then.
