Have any of you ever burned a soy candle? I happen to prefer soy candles over any other candle. One reason is, you can use the soy wax as a cream when it is warm. I do it all the time. When I am burning my soy candle, I just dip my finger in and pull out some wax and rub it into my hands.
Soy has a lower melting point than paraffin so the wax doesn't get as hot so you have less a chance of getting burned. Just be carefull of the flame when you dip your fingers in the wax.
Burning candles is something I do almost daily. I usually have a candle burning when I take my bath in the evening. It just helps me relax.
With Prize Candle, I don't have to worry about any soot getting into my lungs.
Prize Candle makes all their candles out of 100% Soy Wax. The soy is grown domestically and the candles are made in the USA.
If you burn soy wax, it burns 30% longer than paraffin. It is also cleaner than paraffin and doesn't have soot emissions, nor does soy raise the CO2 levels in your home. Soy is also biodegradable.
The scent from a soy candle is also much stronger and much more pleasant than from a paraffin candle, at least to me it is.
Soy candles also clean up easier than a paraffin candle. Just use soap and water to clean them up. If you spill a paraffin candle... you know what a mess they can make.
Prize Candle also gives you a little something special with each candle. Every Prize Candle comes with a ring valued from $10 to $5000.
