I remember ever since I was young, my Mother telling me to always check the dried beans for rocks. I had never seen a rock in my beans but being the good daughter, I always checked.
Lo an behold... I found rocks in my beans.
1 Clove Garlic
1 Can Beans (drained)
4 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Tahini
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
Cayenne Or Black Pepper as desired
I put everything into my food processor and make it into a dip like consistency.
I also never follow the recipe exactly and I usually add a lot more garlic. I also pour more olive oil over the Hummus when I serve it.
I love this recipe, but adding more garlic can make everyone run from you so you may not want to add extra like I do.
