In my early stages of candida, I had a lot of skin issues. I would get zits on my face and sometimes other places on my body. The one thing I learned is that everyone has bacteria all over their body. Some of you just fight it better than the rest of us.
Some of my readers have emailed me about having rosacea along with candida. I have never had Rosacea so I didn't quite know how to answer them. Here is something I found out about Rosacea.
Many people who have rosacea also have an infection with a strain of bacteria known as Helicobacter pylori. These bacteria colonize and form a film on the lining of the stomach. They keep from being dissolved by stomach acid by secreting urea. This kills cells in the lining of the stomach and gives them an anchor. The stomach attempts to get rid of the infection by secreting even more acid, which can cause ulcers of the stomach and duodenum.

Even though I don't have skin issues any longer, I have a routine that I do everyday to keep my skin clear of bacteria and fungus. Normally I use a baby shampoo to wash my face. This works, but it doesn't kill the bacteria and fungus like I really need it to do. That is why I was thrilled when citrusclear ask me to do a review of their products.
