We were sent the 12 inch Prize Wheel, but they also sell the 24 inch prize wheel With Stand, and the 24 Inch Prize Wheel Without a Stand By Midway Monsters
| This was so easy to put together |
| Really Sturdy too! |
The person spins the wheel and where the arrow lands is the prize they win.
I sure wish I would have had this for our Thanksgiving Get Together that I had at my house,.. I do all the cooking. LOTS OF WORK, but LOTS OF FUN too! I really enjoy seeing and getting to talk to everyone.
I also buy little gifts so we can have a little fun, in fact, I have a few prizes left from our cook off that we had in February. I try to make sure each person gets about 3 small gifts. Since a lot of the guests who come are older, we try not to do anything strenuous to win the prizes.
Last year, my Hubs gave everybody cards. He kept an exact match to the card in another pile. He then drew a card and called it out. The person who has the card gets to get up and pick a present. Not so much fun I guess, but everyone seemed to enjoy it.
This year I have BIG PLANS for the Dry Erase Prize Wheel ...
. I am going to write a number on the wheel for each prize I have wrapped. There will be numbers on each prize
. In one of the spaces, I am going to write PICK A PRIZE FROM SOMEONE WHO ALREADY WON ONE. I think that will be so funny.
. I plan on having one marked GRAND PRIZE
If any of you have any other ideas what I can do, let me know
My Hubs also has BIG PLANS for this wheel too.
He has the guys over once a week and they all put some money into a kitty. Once a month someone wins the kitty.
Usually they pick a card and the highest number wins. He can't wait to have them spin to win. Not sure what to do if more than one person wins.... Maybe have a spin off or let them split.
*We recieved a Dry Erase Prize Wheel for review, in no way did this affect our review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and this wheel is GREAT...

How fun this will be for you to use at your gatherings.
ReplyDeleteReally fun Julia,
DeleteMy Hubs already has ideas of how we will use it.
That is SO cool. I have this feeling that my son's 3rd grade teacher would be able to put this to GOOD use. She's always doing games that this would be really handy for.
ReplyDeleteI know, Really cool, You could use is for about anything....
DeleteYour very own wheel of fortune, do you pose and change the letters too?
ReplyDeleteHahhahha John.... I need a wheel of fortune here. I don't do posing... Maybe, you could be my first male poser. Is that a word? Poser?
DeleteI sure could have used this with some of the classroom parties I used to run!!
ReplyDeleteI think it will be fun and yes... it would work great for classroom parties.
DeleteJohn has an idea, huh?
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend is super
Love to you
John does have a great idea Manzi!! You and he could pose together... one could spin and the other could turn letters.
DeleteHa! Now you can predict the weather as good as any meteoroligist. Just draw soe weather signs in and give it a spin, whalla instant weather report.
ReplyDeletehahahahaha...Hi Pat! I think I would probably do as good a job spinning to see what the weather is as listening to a weather forecast.
DeleteThe possibilitites for this are endless!
ReplyDeleteMy Hubs has all kind of ideas for it... some are way out in left field.
DeleteSo many things I could think of to do w/a wheel like this... I really like it. I haven't seen one before, so it's good to know about.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info.
We are having a lot of fun with it Rosey!!
DeleteNow that thing ROCKS! I throw a lot of parties and that would surely come in handy! I can think of games to invest using the wheel too. Very nifty, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI plan on using it often. We have some birthday parties coming up and I will have to think of something to do with it.
DeleteOh that looks like it could be very handy and a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteVery handy and yes it is a lot of fun.
DeleteThat is an awesome review. I love the prize wheel! I should look into getting one for when my grandchildren are here. We are having a big five in one birthday bash for the grand kids. I bet I can come up with lots of games for them to play with the wheel.
ReplyDeleteI know you could come up with lots of ways to use this.
DeleteSo you celebrate all five Birthdays at once? How fun!!
That looks like fun!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been slacking on the comments. It midterm time. After this week, it will get better. I posted 4 new posts this morning. I was behind.
This looks like a lot of fun! I hope you had a wonderfully blessed birthday. Sounds like your birthday dinner was delicious. Love the banana ice cream. It is one of our grandsons favorite things for us to make.
ReplyDeleteYou my dear freaking rock, you do the coolest things. I bet your hubs friends will have fun too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. We do family game night and this would add to the fun. You usually get to pick your prize. We could change it so you get to spin the wheel. My kids would love this. Thanks for sharing!
