Healthy Lifestye Diet ~ This Is The Diet I Used To Heal My Liver And Gallbladder

Candida and parasites wreaked havock on every organ in my body.  At one point during my healing, I had to forget about the candida diet and try to heal my liver and gallbladder.   If my liver wasn't working.... nothing in my body would work right.

I was having problems with constipation.  If the liver isn't working.... you can't have a normal BM.    The diet below is the one I used.   There are many things on it that I can't or don't use, so I would just picked and choose what I wanted to eat from the list.

I also took herbs that help to heal my liver and gallbladder.... Plus I did a Liver / Gallbladder Flush which I still do off and on to this day.  I do them maybe once every few months.   Coffee enema's worked also.

  1. This is very interesting. I would have a difficult time eliminating a couple of things (like peanut butter) but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to try it.

  2. Do you still shy away from the things on the 'avoid' list? Giving up that coffee would be torture for me. :)

  3. I follow a diabetic diet carefully and many of the avoid foods are ones I avoid. I found a wonderful almond butter to replace peanut butter. The whole family prefers it.

  4. A great post. I don't have a problem with my liver, but there are a lot of people out there that do.

  6. I'm on antibiotics so my doctor had me increase the number of milk thistle capsules I take.

I don't understand the prohibition against shellfish on your list. Are they inherently stressful or is pollution?

  8. I know how hard it is to switch to a healthy diet and cut all the crap out. I had to make big changes when I was diagnosed with UC. I admit though, occasionally I will cheat and sneak some of the no no's in, but then pay close attention to what I eat for the next few days if I do that.

Most of my recipes I post on my blog are what I make for my family. I can't indulge in those too often, but I don't think they should have adapt to my restrictions just because I am the sick one.

  9. Good information here. When it comes to fruits I believe fresh is best. All the canned fruits turn acid through canning.
Flaxseed meal and oil should not be taken too liberally.
If this working for you, good on 'ya.
    Take care.

  11. Very interesting. I have been reading up a lot on liver cleanses lately. I had not thought of a diet to help. Thanks for sharing.

  12. I myself am on a gallbladder diet because I have gallbladder stones which can be quite painful. I myself cheat from time to time but the diet is very strict.

Coconut oil should be added to the good fat. :) It grabs candida and pulls it right out of you. Do some research
on it and you will see all the benefits. The same with coconut milk and coconut water. So healthy!
