NuNaturals NuStevia Prebiotic Blend Review ~ Healthier Graham Cracker Recipe

I  didn't know how much I had missed eating graham crackers until I made this recipe using the NuNaturals NuStevia Prebiotic Blend.

NuStevia does not have an after taste like some sweetners because it is made with stevia and Tagatose.

Stevia Is a bushy plant that is extremely sweet and does not raise blood sugar levels.  I use it because it doesn't feed candida.  It is one of the only sweetners that doesn't feed my candida.

Tagatose is a naturally occuring ingredient that is lactose free and found in many foods like milk, fruits and vegetables.   Tagatose feeds the good bacteria and will not raise blood sugar levels so it is safe for  I & II type diabetics.

The taste of the these two sweetners together is wonderful.  No aftertaste!!   That is why I decided to make Graham Crackers With it..

I have not had a Graham Cracker in years and didn't know how much I missed them until I made these.

These tasted wonderful.  So Flaky, tasty.... YUM!!

Graham Crackers
1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup Ground Flax Meal
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon NuStevia Prebiotic Blend
1/2 Cup melted Butter
1/4 Cup Agave Syrup

.  Mix dry ingredients and set aside
.  In a separate bowl mix the melted butter and agave
.  Add the butter and honey to dry ingredients and stir until well mixed
.  Drop the dough onto  a cookie sheet and roll out
.  Bake 8-10 minutes in a 400* oven
.  When done, remove and cut quickly into squares

For those of you on the Candida Diet, you might want to wait to make these until you can handle fruit sugars before making these .

*I was sent a bottle of NuNaturals NuStevia Prebiotic Blend for review purposes.  In no way did this affect my review.  I use NuNaturals whether they send it to me or not.

  9. They look yummy! I wonder how much difference the brand of sweetners makes in the taste? I've tried stevia a couple of times and just didn't care for the taste. It's probably just me! I really wish I could find a sweetner that I really like, especially for my iced tea.

  11. I have got to try your recipe. Can I use the NuNaturals NuStevia Prebiotic Blend to sweeten lemonaid? I make tons of fresh lemonade and need a better sweetner than sugar!

  12. Bonnie,
It would work GREAT for lemonaid. Also, it doesn't have the after taste that plain stevia has. I don't mind the after taste but many people do. I know stevia is one of the best sweetners for me so I use it.
