Take A Hot Bath To Unplug Your Stuffy Nose

If you have a Sinus Head Cold or just plain old sinus problems.   Here is a great way to unstuff your nose.

Draw yourself a really warm bath.  I like mine really hot but not everyone can stand it hot like I can.   I soak in the tub about a half hour.    This works better for me than my nasal steamer.

Be sure to have a tissue handy to the tub because if you are like me, you will be blowing your nose at least 4 times.

When I get out, the mirrors are all steamy and my nose is clear.

  1. I'll have to try that, I usually take showers. My nose is constantly congested and having a deviated septum is part of the problem. But, no surgery for me! I've heard horror stories about those.

  6. I think I will try that later. I have been suffering from the flu lately and I think im starting to develop a sinus infection. Does bloody thick mucous mean a sinus infection?

  8. I'm not one to take baths, but I do know that when I have a sinus infection, as I recently have, a nice hot shower is just what I need! Enjoy!

  12. I wish my grandson could do this. He is a bit young for the hot water. His nose gets so stuffy at times. I always sit him in the bathroom with the hot shower running and steam him that way but it is waisting water.

  15. Terry, That would make a good country song..." the mirrors were a steamy but my nose was clear." Ha I might as well be silly as I've been too morose with the planes spraying night and day. Can you imagine when we'll have 30,000 drones in the sky watching us. I suppose they'll be spraying too..... maybe just for old times's sake. :)
I love hot baths..... tub full to the running over point..... full of fluoride but it's all we got.
    I sent you an email.

  20. I adore hot baths. They are the solution for so many ailments. When I was pregnant I still took warm baths. I know, bad Momma, but they were one of the few things that brought me some relief. Little Bit would kick and push up. Guess he didn't care for the warm bath ;D
