Just Finished Another Quick Liver / Gallbladder Flush

After taking some medication for what I thought was a sinus cold, my tongue started burning.  This was the first time in months that it has gotten this bad.    The Probiotics usually keep it away but since I have been feeling so well,  I have not been taking them on a regular basis....  what a ditz I am.

So, when my tongue burns, I know it is possibly thrush, my liver and, or gallbladder.    That is why I decided to give myself a quick liver / gallbladder flush.

The Epsom salts tastes pretty bad to drink and I had to drink it 4 times.  But really, it was very well worth it.    I got a lot of gallstones out.  100's of them and one pretty big one.   That is what I wanted to see.  Gallstones     I can heal my gallbladder and liver, it is just going to take a little time.

This is the biggest gallstone I have gotten out.   The rest of them were smaller and there were 100s of them.
The color is brighter than the picture shows... they were like almost neon green.    I have had yellow gallstones with my first two flushes, but the last two times, green gallstones come out.   Maybe that means I am getting deeper into the gallbladder.

If I would let the doctors take out my gallbladder, I will no longer make bile to help digest fats.   A friend of mine let the doctor take hers and now, she has all kinds of problems with food.  Worse than before.

Here is the directions for the Quick Liver / Gallbladder Flush that I did.

Liver Cleanse and Gallbladder Cleanse Flush

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Cup Olive Oil Extra Virgin
1 Big grapefruit - squeezed or 100% grapefruit juice (canned is fine)
4 tablespoon EPSOM salts
3 cups water You can substitute 3 cups water (that is used in this recipe to dissolve Epsom salt) with 3 cups freshly pressed grapefruit juice, or apple juice - that way you will not feel unpleasant taste of Magnesium Sulphate (epsom salts)

Choose a day like Saturday for the cleanse, since you will be able to rest the next day.

Take no medicines, vitamins or pills that you can do without; they could prevent success.

Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal with fruit, fruit juice, bread and preserves or honey (no butter or milk), baked potato or other vegetables with salt only. This allows the bile to build up and develop pressure in the liver. Higher pressure pushes out more stones.

2:00 PM. Do not eat or drink anything heavy (water or tea is fine to drink) after 2 o'clock. If you break this rule you could feel quite ill later. Get your Epsom salts ready. Mix 4 tbs. in 3 cups water (or juice) and pour this into a jar. This makes four servings, 3/4 (three fourths) cup each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get ice cold (this is for convenience and taste only). [ You can substitute 3 cups water with 3 cups freshly pressed grapefruit juice, or apple juice, it tastes better .]

6:00 PM. Drink one serving 3/4 (three fourths cup) of the ice cold Epsom salts. (goes down faster and easier through a drinking straw) If you did not prepare this ahead of time, mix 1 tbs. in 3/4 (three fourth) cup water now. You may add 1/8 (one eight) tsp. vitamin C powder to improve the taste. You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth. Get the olive oil and grapefruit out to warm up.

8:00 PM. Repeat by drinking another 3/4 (three fourths) cup of Epsom salts. You haven't eaten since two o'clock, but you won't feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success.

9:45 PM. Pour 1/2 (half) cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar add 3/4 cup grapefruit juice. Add this to the olive oil. Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only grapefruit juice does this). Now visit the bathroom one or more time, even if it makes you late for your ten o'clock drink. Don't be more than 15 minutes late. You will get fewer stones.

10:00 PM. Drink the olive oli/grapefruit potion you have mixed. Drinking through a large plastic straw helps it go down easier. Drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes. Lie down immediately. You might fail to get stones out if you don't. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Don't clean up the kitchen.

As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down flat on your back with your head up high on the pillow. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!).

Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don't.

Upon awakening take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don't take this potion before 6:00 am.

Expect diarrhea in the morning.

2 Hours Later. Take your fourth (the last) dose of Epsom salts. You may go back to bed again. After 2 More Hours you may eat. Start with fruit juice. Half an hour later eat fruit. One hour later you may eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered.

  1. This sounds really awful. My chiropractor told me about this, though, and I've been thinking about it. I go for an ultrasound next week - so I guess I'll wait to see if there are still any stones left before I try it. After all, maybe I'll be lucky and whatever was going on during the big attack has passed?

  2. Lisa,
I hope you don't have any stones left. This flush works well for me but it is a pain in the rear. Tastes terrible and then I have the runs too. But it did what I wanted it to do.

  3. I can tell I'm going to learn a lot by following along as I read your blog posts. Let me ask a question. Even if a person does not feel the same symptoms of a burning tongue like you did is is okay to just do this cleanse as a preventative?

  4. Grace,
This flush also flushes out toxins so it is probably something I should of done a long time ago. Before I had problems.

This tastes terrible and like I said, you get the runs for awhile. But it makes me feel much better.

If you have any of these symptoms, it could be gallbladder
    •Nausea and vomiting
    •Indigestion
    •Intolerance to fatty foods
    •Abdominal bloating
•Pain in the right upper and central upper abdomen
•Referred pain may radiate to the back and the right shoulder

  9. So timely. Last Thursday appointment with Neil.... I had thought perhaps I needed another g/B cleanse last week end so I asked Neil. He said wait until spring..... everyone has gall stones. So I thought I'd wait but I still feel perhaps I should do it now. That is the same one I do (when I do it :)) Now I don't now what to do. Wish I'd never asked him and just gone ahead and done it.

  10. I wish I would have found out about this when I was struggling with my gallbladder problems. Luckily after my gallbladder was removed I have been back to 100%. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

    1. I don't know if you can, or can't do it if you don't have a gallbladder. I know for me, it flushes out the liver really well.
