Now.... for some strange reason. I am getting them in my nose. This has been going on for a few years, especially when the heat is turned on in the winter. It seems to dry my nasal passages out terribly and I get a fever blister.
You can use a humidifier. Check this post out before you go buy a humidifier!!! I went out and paid $200. for one. Suppose to be noiseless... Yea right!!! The first night, it was really pretty quiet... the second night it started getting really noisy. I checked to see if it was low on water. The water was fine so who knows what the problem is.
If you buy one of those cheap humidifiers, it would probably work just as well. I just filled a crock pot with water and use that at night in my bed room.
3. When you blow your nose, use the tissues that have moisture in them. I don't know how many times tissues make my nose more sore because they are so rough. The minute I scratch my nose with something rough, I get a cold sore.
Heal Cold Sores (Fever Blisters) in my nose.
(This is how I do it.... You may not want to do this because it does burn. I suggest you speak to your doctor before doing anything I do.
1. Oil Of Oregano, I put some of that on a Q-Tip and put it up my nose. Really seems to heal fast.
2. After the cold sore starts healing, you might want to use something to keep it from getting infected. I use Barberry Root Extract as it is scabbing over, and sometimes I alternate it with the Oil Of Oregano.
Update::: I just wanted to let you know... I have found out that Fever Blisters in your nose can be a sign of Parasites. Even though I did everything listed above, I still kept getting Cold Sores in my nose. It seems they would heal just to come back all over again.
I ended up doing a Humaworm Parasite Cleanse so far the fever blisters have stopped completely.
I have also been putting organic coconut oil in my nose, eyes and ears to help kill any parasites lurking there. Be sure to check Twitching In My Eye and see what I pulled out of my eye.
