Cinnamon And Honey Syrup For Colds, Coughs and sore throats
If you are suffering with a sinus cold or have a cough. Cinnamon and Honey might do the trick for you.
Cinnamon is a powerful herb when it comes to fighting inflamation, cinnamon is also an antifungal.
Honey has been touted to protect from viral attacks such as the flu. Mix Honey and Cinnamon together and you have a great cold and flu remedy.
For cold or flu symptoms
Mix 1 Tablespoon of honey (warmed) with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon. Take this like you would a cough syrup.
If you have a cough cause by sinus problems, this should work like a charm to dry up your sinuses and stop you from coughing.
Here is what I do for myself, though I don't think anyone else should try this.
I take about 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon Powder and put it in my mouth.....It is very hot and might choke you so be very careful. Chew it around in your mouth to mix with your saliva. Swallow......This is great for an inflamed throat and also clears the sinuses. With the candida, I would rather not do the honey so I just do it plain.
Your sinuses will not clear instantly but for me this works great.
