Pictures Of Candida ~ What Does Candida Look Like In The Stool And Toilet?

What does Candida Look Like In The Toilet
Below are a few pictures of candida, I don't have a good one but this might help you.

Candida can look like a cotton ball in the toilet, it can also look like a tumbleweed, or it can be slimy like below.   It can also mix right in with your stool.  The stool can be slimy or have white mixed through it.

Candida, Kind of looks like a jelly like mucus

Above is a picture of candida sent in by a reader.  Candida can be very hard to get a good picture of.  It can look white and when you take a picture of it, it is much darker....  Like the photo below.

See the spots in the BM?   The spots were white but when another reader took the picture, they turned gray/green looking.

Below is the same picture as above only with the flash on.
If anyone has any good pictures they would like to offer.  I would be happy to accept them so others can see candida.

  1. What a great blog! Thank you for being so willing and open to sharing your experience! You commented on my blog (Advocating for Health: The Many Faces of Health and Illness) and I wanted to reply to your comment as well. You asked how I've been doing all in all since my surgeries ... and I assume with my auto immune diseases as well? I have also had/have Candida, which really kicked off the series of infections and then a massive hormonal fluctuation by way of an unplanned pregnancy, which all triggered my auto immune diseases about 5 years back. My spine condition existed prior - for about 20 years - and right about now I am not doing so well overall. My surgeries helped to "correct" my overall pain associated with my back in 1997, but I started to experience new deterioration, degeneration and early onset osteoarthritis above my fusion region in 2006, along with increased overall pain and nerve issues. In late 2006, early 2007 I began to see signs of the auto immune diseases. I have Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. I also have a third they are not sure of yet, and are awaiting the results of treatments to see what symptoms remain a problem until they look further. In addition, around the same time I began to show signs of PCOS. One of the reasons I am anxious about starting treatments for my auto immune diseases is directly related to my history of Candida, .. along with my flares, which create chronic skin issues and fevers. Anyway, that's the situation in a nutshell. If you'd like to talk further I am more than willing and interested! You can email me at healthandillness@gmail.com. It's easier than doing a back and forth thru the blog comment sections. Blessings to you! Cat

I have been suffering ftom what appears to be Candida and/or Pinworm Parasites for 7 years.I have
seen numerous Gastroentronologists--Of couse, they all ordered the same fecal tests, which all came back Negative because these tests are useless and totally inconclusive. And, get this; Only 5% of all parasites known by man today have even a chance of ever showing up through any of these "dumb fecal tests", and here's the kicker--The 5% have "a maximum" of only 20% chance of ever showing up at all. I have many photos of this Candida-- I will be glad
to send you some really good photos, but you will have to tell me how to send photos to you and remaon anonymous. Please respond ASAP.

  4. Thank you so much for being willing to post these pictures!! I've been thinking I have candida for about a year now, finally doing something serious about it. Everytime I've told a doctor about the mucous they would always just blow it off...I've thought it was candida but now I'm sure! Thank you!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Shaina,

Your doctors will still blow everything you say off. I don't know why they don't believe in candida, but they don't. also... if you have candida, you probably have parasites. My one Doctor thinks I am crazy. The ear nose and throat guy believe me but has no idea how to help me.... he told me I am doing a great job with the herbs.

  6. I am following...I've been treating for almost 3 weeks. Now, I am dealing with bladder and UTI. The worst part is ear itching, scalp itching and rectal itching, now vaginal and bladder burning.

    2. Keep going, it true that it gets worse before it gets better. sometimes the extremity of your treatment will determine how bad but you'll have faster results in the end.

  7. Have you done a really good parasite cleanse? When I had all those problems, I found out it was parasites for me.

did you find that you saw more of the candida in your stool during die off or during a particularly bad flare up?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Mostly when I saw candida in the stool, I was doing a parasite cleanse and I would give myself a warm water enema. At the end of the enema is when all the candida would come out. I never had the camera when there was a lot.

In the begining, I didn't even know to look for it.

  10. I have no idea how you can send me photos and still remain anonymous.

You know, early on I had some great pictures but that was right before I started this blog. When I first started it, I wasn't going to post photos like that. then people started wanting to know what it looked like. Now I post all kinds of gross photos and I get thanks from those who suffer and want to see if theirs match mine.

  11. I've discovered your blog tonight and am reading through various posts. Thanks so much for the effort you've put into this. I also appreciate your consistent integrity about insisting that this is your healing journey and others need to do their own research.
Here's my question: I've done cleanses in the past and have had a cursory look in the toilet bowl and saw strange things. Is it really worthwhile to look further? This is a totally gross question, but do you, like, break apart the feces, take material out of the toilet and so on? On the one hand I'd want to know that the efforts and suffering of the cleanse were producing results, so it might be necessary to look. But on the other hand that just seems to add a whole lot more unpleasantness, and maybe I can just assume that things are working if I come out feeling better. Any opinions?

  12. Arbutus,
Like you... I want to know what comes out of me .. so I go looking and yes it is very gross.

If a cleanse does not produce results, I don't ever buy it again.

  13. Have you tried long term enzymes to treat the parasites? You wouldn't need a prescription for that. Standard Process makes one specifically targeted at killing parasites.

I have not tried Standard Process, but am going to look into it. Thanks!!

I appreciate you posting the pictures! I am now more certain that I do have candida because my stool has resembled that for approximately the last 5-6 years. Ever since I have added probiotics(yogurt and phillips colon health) it is nowhere near as common. Did you by any chance feel like a numbness throughout your entire body when you had candida? By the way, hot yoga like hot power vinyasa and bikram yoga seems to work out great in providing more die off of candida! Thanks again for this blog!!!!

  16. I don't remember a numbness in my body, but it has been awhile since my candida has been bad.

I bet yoga is great for getting die off out. Anything that makes you sweat helps too.

Wishing you luck and a fast heal.

Hello I have had stringy white things in my stools for some time now. Sometimes they separate off and sometimes they are not visible. My doctor did stool blood test and so happens the samples i took did not have the white strings but I have them every second movement. I will try to provide a picture next time for you to look at. I have been extremely bloated and have abdominal irritation can candida be the cause?

  19. Wow, this blog has been very helpful. Thanks for all of your comments and posts. Its amazing what we will share when we are desperate. Lol. Speaking of being desperate, the last few years has been hell for me. I have been incredible fatigued and feeling generally ill phor the last few years, but about six months ago I atatted getting a horrific pain in my upper right abdomen. I had CT scans and ultra sounds, every test known to man and nothing. I was put on antibiotics ans they would work for a qhile and then they wohld atop working. Then the pain morphed into a burning agony tbat ran through my whole GI tract. Ive been atruggling with this for so long, and I am in pin from my chest to my butt! I see a GI doc, but again no answers. And when I ask about candida, I am told there is not a lot of good science behind it. Luckily my GP is more open to trying diffErent things. I then tried flucanazole, and it worked, but again returned. I hae now been yrying ACV and yogurt enemas. I tried drinking it but it triggered the intense pain again. Im thinking that I originaskly had a bacterial Infection, or something, and then all of the antbiotics,( five courses and four diffetent kinds) triggered a yeast imbalance. Any thoughts on how to get rid of this when I cant tollerate ACV by mouth, and any other feedback would be appteciated.

    ReplyDelete
  20. When I first realized I had candida, everyone told me to do ACV. Like you, I couldn't tolerate it. I have given myself enemas with it and it really kills stuff off..... I now can take it by mouth but it took years.

Have you given up cane sugar? That is one of the first things needed with candida.

  21. I just stumbled upon your blog while googling images of candida. I am now totally certain I have candida. I recently had leaking silicone breast implants removed (about 6 weeks ago). After doing extensive research, I have discovered that not only is the silicone toxic, but it creates a toxic environment for candida to grow and take over. I believe that the candida (and silicone etc) are entirely responsible for my decline in health. I have been in increasing pain - muscle aches, stiffness, no energy, weakness, mental fog, severe skin lesions - for a few years now, and I'm freaked out that it's because I have a whole candida eco system growing inside me! I notice that my house reflects the same. Do you have any environmental issues you battle with? From what I understand, candida is mold gone wild...? Thanks so much for sharing your story. I am so relieved to find others who can show me the way back to a life worth living. Most of my friends and family think I'm nuts. Oh, and i wanted to tell you that I have those "mole-looking" things on my body too. Tea tree oil and baking soda have been helping and it has only been like 2 days.

    1. Princess,
Did you take antibiotics when you had your implants removed? That is the worst for candida. If you have candida... You probably have parasites also. They seem to go hand in hand. I could not get rid of the candida until I got rid of the parasites. Everyone has some candida, it is when it grows out of control that we have problems

I don't seem to have a problem with mold. I am sure it is in my house but I don't have an allergy to it... I do have a problem with city water. I go to a local spring and get my water, then I boil it to make sure I kill any bacteria that might be in it.

Those mole looking things I think are my skin taking over for my damaged liver. Mine are much better but I am not sure they will ever go away completely. I do a lot of liver flushes to clean out the toxins in my body. I use tea tree oil, sometimes.

I have been trying to only use things that don't kill the good bacteria and just the bad... especially now that I am well.

There are many herbs to take that help.... I also had to do the candida diet.

  23. I came here because mine started to have white spots...like a layer of white. This is after a few weeks of different types of stools especially the ones shown here.

Been supporting my diet especially the last week with carrot and veggie juice and veggie soup daily. I'm light on brown rice and 1/2 oats, 1/2 flax in the morning (I tend to suffer from chronic constipation).

I'm almost sure the yeast is back but I'm able to maintain the symptoms by minimizing carbs & sugar and keeping my body alkaline...Yes, I've been through this battle once before and I think my treatment didn't stick the first time because I didn't stay on track with my diet long enough and started incorporating "normal" food too early and too much.

Anyway, waiting on stool results for yeast and parasites that my naturopath ordered. They're the only Drs. who have had a clue in the last 20 years that have built up to this. Drs.=FDA=discusting msg, hormones, chemicals, gmo, sodium, saturated protein fat, high sugar diets=Prescription kick backs for lifelong chronic disorders, is why we're suffering "without cause" and without cures.

My chronic digestive issues and out of control, debilitating, eczema are what led me to candida. Good luck on the fight everyone! Don't give up! And remember: diet is everything! My heart goes out to you. God bless.

You are so right,... Drs have no clue as to what is going on. I am doing great now, but I do stay on a fairly strict diet. That is the only thing that is going to keep this from coming back like I had it before.

I wish you luck with this Pat. No one knows what we go through.

I have squdezed where i feel it but cant fel anything.. my hand is now to the point that i cant tell whats in my pockets.. i drop things cause i dont realize im holding something.. the doctors would rather send me to a shrink than believe me.. its a very helpless feeling... any help would be greatly appreciated... i have a beautiful family who depend on me i have to beat this... i have to.. god bless us all...

    1. Anonymous,
I can not diagnose you. But I can tell you that when I had candida.... it was all over my body... everywhere!!!

Parasites and candida go hand in hand. I had worm coming out my skin after doing many, many parasite cleanses.

I could not get rid of the candida until I took care of the parasites. This was not an easy thing to do. Drs turned their back on me when I told them I had worms. So I had to heal myself. God helps those that help themselves!!

I feel, I am now parasite free, it took over 3 years to completely get rid of them and longer to get rid of the candida completely.

Here is the thing... I can get parasites again, so I still cleanse regularly.

Can you recommend a site I can go to to find a diet? What else did you supplement your diet with as far as antiparasitics? I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to give me the info you have.. i have been passing some things that are pinkish orange like a boiled shrimp color and it is roundish and flat very thin and has the consistancy of something similar to a fish scale.. i thought it was worm skin and it might be but one had a tail looking thing coming off of it.. any ideas? Fluke maybe? Oil of Oregano drew this out of me and its not just a few and its nothing i ate... any ideas?

    6. i had similar sensations in my arms and from my personal experience from what i realised it is candida mucos that wraps around joints.its kinda like candida bonds you from inside and it becomes harder and harder for the body to move. i had swallen joints and weird "knots" thyat were visible to me and i literally was seeing movemets serpant like under skin..my solution was spine stretching.so probiotics, diet, supplements break candida and its mucos and it becomes possible to stretch and shift spine and all body to its proper alignment

  25. hello.i`ve just stumbled upon ur blog while looking for more material on candida and deteriorating spinal cord.i was an unsuspecting candida sufferer my whole life.horrible neurodermatitis from brth, exzemas, oral thrush, weird sudden skin abnormalities later in life, then spinal issues here and there, nose bleeds, gastro nightmares..in my early 20s(im 39 now) i went to see a homeopathic doc.changed diet, was taking homeopathic remedies-it all worked well..skin cleared(it was my major concern).Still clueless about the real reason for things I always thought were "normal".One very well reknowned gastroenterologist in NYC actually told me(for 300$ first and only visit) that my then occasional constipation and constant(!!!!) lifelong gas(even afer all my homeopathy) are "peculiarities of my body".
Anyway my life was gradually coming to a stand still and collapsed 2years ago.My skin all of a sudden errupted.my body basically stopped function physically.was either paralysed sleeping or trying to get out of weird strange feeling i calll "feeling woozy"-combination of brain fog and subsequent anxiety.lack of energy etc..the way my skin broke out-i`d never had before.black spots, red dots etc and blueish tint on large portions of my skin, then strange swelllings, blueish lint out my pores and hair, my teeth got black plaque almost overnite.dermatologist i went to after trying all possible home remedies from chlorine to baths to tee trea oil, to finally peroxide etc, so that lady also looked at me weird and prescribed smth for impetigo and staph first time.second time she simply went:oh you are that lady with bleach..ahhh..ok..here`s another "hemmoroid cream"(im joking.but you imagine that she simply wrote me off to mental patient since first biopsy and second respectively showed nothing and first time she had an experience seeing me with slightly bleach burnt skin.)
long story short after 2 years of battling on my own,i think im out of the crisis area.i literally had to put my life on hold trying to desypher "WTF was happening to me."oh yeah last year during summer my hair reallly started disappearing, summer humidity seemed to completely finish the job of ruining my spirit etc
drastic positive changes rushed after i started to spinal stretching and realised I have fused or almost fused vertebrae. and that my late strangely occuring pains and weirdness with muscular-skeletal structure is not just childhood athletic baggage but The Baggage. After months of literally every day every hour on the hour stretching, holding poses, learning my body I evened my sholders, turned torso and neck back to alignment, almost defused low and mid back.all that while taking massive amounts of probiotics, threelack, enzymes and herbs recommended for candida(like pau d`arco, garlic etc etc).but this spinal breakthru was i think second major after digestion..I realised that candida mucos bonds spine w its glue.and since spine is a key to every organ and every nerve in our systems-relising and fixing any possible spinal trouble is vital in candida conquest. and my hair is back to normal even better.I'm still in process of spine alignment and stretching and up untill recently wasnt sure if i'm ready to say :i did it! i think i 've done it! now my job is lifelong maintenance and awareness of my condition that i know now runs in my fam(remembering things from my childhood)
    thank you for reading

Dates have a ton of sugar, plus... most of them have been sprayed for bugs ect... not good for those of us with candida. I can eat them now, but it took a long time before I could. I never noticed the green stools from them though. I just get a burning tongue if I eat too much sugar.

  28. You mentioned in one of your replies that you are well. Is this something you expect to stay the same? So far this year I have; done 2 liver cleanses, 2 parasite cleanses, changed my diet, changed my diet again to paleo, changed it again by removing foods that were bad for my blood type, do weekly dry brush massage, have used reflexology, two raindrop therapy sessions, I have improved greatly but I still have pain in my hands, feet, one shoulder, one hip, lower back and gerd. I can't wait until I can say I am well. Any advise?

I am doing very, very well. I do a parasite cleanse two times a year and also do other things that get rid of parasites. I still get worms out sometimes, so they keep coming back. My Hubs doesn't cleanse so I probably get them from him or shopping and touching things.

It took a long time for me to get rid of the pain. The gerd... I found if I stay away from a lot of carbs, I don't have problems. It is just hard because the carbs are what helps fill you up.
